Gốm Sen: A journey born from serendipity and passion

Gốm Sen is more than just a pottery brand; it’s a story of love, belief, and perseverance. Born and raised in a traditional pottery village, I witnessed the dedication of the mothers, and sisters as they meticulously crafted each exquisite ceramic piece on their spinning wheels. However, their meager earnings were insufficient to support their livelihoods, leaving me with a burning question: How can potters make a living from their craft, and how can we prevent the art of pottery from fading away?

Fated Encounters and Profound Realizations

In 2018, a turning point arrived when I encountered a group of extraordinary painters – individuals with disabilities like Quan, Tra, and Hieu. Despite their physical limitations, they were blessed with pure souls and dexterous hands. The ceramic pieces they created bore a unique and emotional touch, captivating and inspiring anyone who beheld them. It was then that I realized pottery was not merely a craft but a means for them to find joy, self-confidence, and equality.
